Gurudongmar Lake : Gurudongmar Lake is a sacred, high-altitude lake in North Sikkim, India, famed for its spiritual significance and breathtaking scenery, including the surrounding Kanchenjunga and K2 ranges. Located at about 17,800 feet (5,430 meters), the lake is considered holy by Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus, who believe it was blessed by Guru Padmasambhava , the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. A remarkable phenomenon is that a portion of the lake never freezes, even in the harshest winters, which is considered a blessing and a place of magic by locals.
Yumthang Valley : The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the North Sikkim district of Sikkim state in India. It is at an elevation of 3,564 metres (11,693 ft) above msl at a distance of 150 kilometres (93 mi) from the state capital Gangtok.
